Dani Ceballos Wants Permanent Transfer To Arsenal After Leaving Real Madrid To Join The Gunners On Loan

DANI CEBALLOS has hinted he wants his Arsenal loan spell to turn into a permanent deal as he revealed he is happy he left Real Madrid.

The 23-year-old has been a huge hit at the Emirates since joining in the summer, with the Spanish midfielder featuring in all 11 games this season.

He immediately endeared himself to Gunners fans after he rejected a move to Tottenham to join Unai Emery‘s men instead.

Ceballos put in a man-of-the-match display in his first home game against Burnley in August, labelling his full Premier League debut as “one of the most special days of my life.”

His form this term has seem him recalled back to the Spanish senior side.

Arsenal don’t have the option of signing him permanently at the end of the season, but Ceballos has claimed that he is keen to stay with the Europa League finalists.

Speaking ahead of Spain’s Euro 2020 qualifier against Norway, he said: “Going to Arsenal has been a very important step in my career.

“I don’t feel sorry for not being in Madrid. Right now I am where I want to be and I am very happy.”

“My idea was to go out, play and enjoy football. In the previous two years I had not done so.”

“My goal is only to work to keep doing things right.

“I have eight months left at Arsenal, I can only thank them for the confidence that the coach and fans have placed in me, who have already made me a song.

“I am very happy there and I hope to continue for a long time.”
