France Football will announce their 30-man Ballon d’Or shortlist on Monday.

Virgil van Dijk, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo are gunning for the prestigious prize.

Liverpool defender, Van Dijk, is the favourite to win the Ballon d’Or after a fine season under Jurgen Klopp.

The Dutch defender is instrumental to Liverpool winning Champions League as well as helping the Reds push Manchester City in the Premier League.

Van Dijk won UEFA’s Player of the Year in August, while Messi grabbed FIFA’s The Best Men’s Player award in September.

France Football will get the ball rolling on the Ballon d’Or on Monday ahead of the ceremony in December.

However, a date or venue have not been confirmed as of yet.

Meanwhile, Mané has revealed whom he vote for the prize. And it’s not his team mate and prize favorite, Van Dijk. For the striker, he’ll surely vote for Messi before Van Dijk.

“No, Virgil is a great, great player but sorry Virgil, it has to be Messi before you.” He said.
