Manchester United Chief, Ed Woodward, is ready to help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to close in n two crucial signings on January transfer window.
Man Utd have been suffering a difficult season, winning only two out of nine Premier League opening games but thriving in the Europa League with seven points out of possible nine.
Now the Red Devils want to sign in two players to boost the team. Reports from Express Sports suggest Mario Mandzukic is likely going to be the first to be signed. The Mirror claim United is close to signing Denis Zakaria.
Mandzukic is currently hibernating in Juventus and haven’t yet appeared on the field this season. Juventus have agreed to let him leave for Man Utd when the January transfer window opens.
On the other hand, Zakaria has been quite impressive in Borussia Monchengladbach in the Bundesliga this season. The 22-year old midfielder has also won 24 caps for Switzerland.
Man Utd believe he will be an ideal replacement for Ander Herrera, who left the club on a free transfer back in the summer.
