Cristiano Ronaldo scored a 96th minute penalty to give Juventus 2-1 victory over Genoa in Wednesday Serie A game.
Both sides lost players, Genoa’s Francesco Cassata and Juve’s Adrien Rabiot, to red cards in the second half.
However, Leonardo Bonucci’s 36th-minute header put Juve in the lead but Christian Kouame’s shot levelled the score.
Ronaldo finally got the chance to score his first goal in the game but it was cancelled as an offside. The Portuguese star won a penalty after substitute Antonio Sanabria’s costly challenge.

Juventus have reclaimed their first place in Serie A table, a point ahead of Inter Milan while Genoa are 17th, one point above bottom three.
