Chelsea To Appeal Transfer Ban On November 20

November 20 has been chosen by the Court of Arbitration for Sport to hear Chelsea’s appeal on transfer ban imposed by FIFA.

FIFA sanctioned the blues with two window transfer ban for breaking transfer regulations relating to minors.

In addition to the ban, Chelsea were fined 600,000 Swiss francs which equated to £460,000 in February.

The blues unsuccessfully tried to overturn the decision when they presented their case to FIFA’s appeals committee in April.

Now, CAS have agreed to hear their appeal on November 20.

The North London club was found guilty of breaching article 19 of its regulations on the status and transfer of players (RSTP), which concerns the protection of minors.

More documents published by the body last week showed its appeals committee found Chelsea had committed 150 breaches of regulations.

The appeals committee agreed with the disciplinary committee that the breaches were ‘inexcusable’.
