“I Haven’t Talked To Bayern” Arsene Wenger Clarifies Amid Rumours Of Coaching Job

French man and former Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, has denied rumours that Bayern Munich have approached with job offer as new coach.

This is following Niko Kovac being sacked on Sunday after Bayern’s shameful 5-1 defeat by Eintracht Frankfurt.

Wenger, who won the Premier League three times and the FA Cup seven times before leaving Arsenal in 2018 after 22 years, was rumoured to be among the top contenders for the German Side.

The 70 year old didn’t deny his interest in moving to Bundesliga Champions either.

Speaking to beIN Sports during analysis on Bayern’s Wednesday victory against Olympiakos, Wenger said;

“I never refuse to talk to Bayern Munich because I know these people who lead the club for 30 years.

“I was nearly going to Bayern a long, long time ago. At the moment, I haven’t talked to them at all.

“We have not talked to each other and I don’t know if we will.”

Bayern Munich is fourth in Bundesliga and currently qualified for Champions League round of 16.
