Nigerian sensation, Victor Osimhen, has attracted the attention of Tottenham Hotspur who are interested in signing him.
According to reports, Liverpool and Chelsea whom the 20-year-old scored against during the UEFA Champions League Group H match are also in the race to sign him.
Osimhen moved to French Club, Lille from Belgian side Charleroi during the summer as a replacement for outgoing Ivorian Nicolas Pepe who made a big money move to Arsenal in the same transfer window.
The Nigerian striker has been in excellent form since joining Lille scoring 16 goals and making 3 assists in 28 appearances for the club. Osimhen was also instrumental to Nigeria’s victorious international friendly against Benin Republic and Lesotho.
Liverpool and Chelsea may be interested in signing him but Tottenham seem to have the advantage because Mourihno’s assistant, Joao Sacramento, had managed the youngster at Lille before moving to the Spurs.
Whether Osimhen would agree to move to England remains to be seen as it is likely he might stay behind at Lille to at least help them qualify for the Champions League.
