Kelechi Iheanacho’s Goal Helps Leicester City Win 2-1 Against West Ham United

Kelechi Iheanacho scored his third premier league goal this season to help the Foxes secure 2-1 win against West Ham on Saturday.

The 23-year-old striker scored the opening goal in the 40th minute adyer heading home Ayoze Perez’ cross.

Pablo Fornals equalized for West Ham before Demarai Gray, who had previously missed a penalty in the first half, retook the lead for Leicester to ensure their eventual victory.

Super Eagles Iheanacho featured throughout the game while fellow compatriot, Wilfred Ndidi featured for only twenty minutes as a substitute for Nampalys Mendy.

This is Iheanacho’s fifth goal in his last four Premier League appearances for Leicester.

Meanwhile, West Ham are currently just a point above relegation as manager Manuel Pellegrini is under serious pressure ahead of New Year’s day match against Bournemouth.

Leicester are second in premier league with 10 points behind leaders, Liverpool and will play against Newcastle on same New Year’s day.
