Inter Milan dropped Serie A points again as they were held to 1-1 draw by relegation-threatened Leece on Sunday.

Inter substitute Alessandro Bastoni scored the opener with a header in the second half but Leece soon equalised through captain Marco Mancosu.

Lecce, who went into the game on a four-match losing run and without a home win all season, came close to scoring a late winner through Filippo Falco’s free kick which struck the woodwork.

This is Inter Milan’s second winless game in a row after drawing 1-1 against Atalanta last weekend.

The Italian giants are now second with just a point behind leaders, Juventus in Serie A while Leece remain 17th with just a point above relegation zone.
