Man Utd Continue To Support Solskjaer Despite Call For His Sacking

Rumours about Manchester United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s future was the main topic of discussion on Thursday after United surprisingly lost 2-0 to Burnley at Old Trafford on Wednesday for the first time since 1962.

Fans took to social media to call for his immediate sacking. #OleOut was trending on Twitter as fans questioned the Norwegian’s capability of managing the Red Devils.

However, United remain supportive of Solskjaer according to BBC Sports. And they will allow him lead the team to FA Cup fourth-round trip to either Watford or Tranmere, who meet in their third-round replay on Thursday night.

But one thing is clear; Soslkjaer cannot afford to lose the match on Sunday as that would mean losing three successive matches for the first time this season which doesn’t spell good for the Norwegian’s future at Old Trafford.

Already, fans are calling out owner and executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward for inconsistent results and a lack of new signings in the club so far this month.

Meanwhile, Solskjaer will face the media in a press conference on Friday.
