Wilfred Ndidi Rated World’s 10th Most Expensive Defensive Midfielder And Most Valuable Nigerian Player

Leicester City and Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi is 10th most expensive defensive midfielder in the world, according to Transfer Market report.

The 23-year-old is currently worth €45m, having enjoyed top form in Leicester.

Manchester City’s Rodri and Bayern Munich’s Joshua Kimmich lead the chart with the market value of €80m each.

Liverpool’s Fabinho and Real Madrid’s Casemiro sit in the 3rd and 4th positions with a market value of 70m Euros each while Chelsea’s Jorginho is fifth.

Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic is 6th; West Ham’s Declan Rice is 7th; Atletico Madrid’s Thomas Partey is 8th while Wolves’ Ruben Neves is 9th.

Ndidi shares the 10th position with the duo of Borussia Monchengladbach’s Denis Zakaria and Arsenal’s Lucas Torreira as the trio are valued at €45m each.

The Super Eagles star is also the most valuable Nigerian player, with Alex Iwobi coming second (€28.80m) and the dynamic duo of Victor Osimhen and Samuel Chukwueze (€27m), joint third.
