Leicester Make Move For Liverpool’s Adam Lallana

Leicester City are reportedly making moves to sign Adam Lallana who will be leaving Liverpool this summer.

Recall that FrujuSports had reported that the England international was leaving because the Reds are not interested in renewing his contract which will expire during the summer (read here).

Lallana is also currently free to negotiate and sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club prior to the end of his current deal at Anfield.

According to transfer rules, Lallana must have the permission of his current club if he wants to negotiate with another English side before the end of his current contract.

A number of clubs have shown interest in signing the 31-year-old but Leicester seem to be at the forefront as Brendan Rodgers is keen to bring him to King Power Stadium.

Rodgers had signed Lallana when he was Liverpool manager in 2014.

The Scot hopes to boost his striking squad in Leicester by signing Lallana ahead of next season.

Lallana has scored 22 goals in 175 appearances for Liverpool but his playing time at Anfield have been restricted and he hopes to make the first-team football in his next club.
