Bayern Munich 3-0 Lyon: Serge Gnabry Double Take Bayern To Champions League Final

A first half double from Serge Gnabry helped Bayern Munich to defeat Lyon 3-0 to reach their first Champions League final since 2013.

Karl Toko Ekambi had attempted to score the opening goal for the underdogs Lyon by hitting the post.

However, moments after the failed attempt, Gnabry struck the opening goal for Bayern in the 18th minute.

The goal gingered the Bundesliga side to take control from Lyon who made a bright start of the game.

And a second goal followed when efforts from Bayern’s ace striker Robert Lewandowski and Lopes helped Gnabry find the back of Lyon’s net 12 minutes before half time.

Toko Ekambi’s second attempt for Lyon after half time failed again as he shot the ball straight into Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer’s hands.

Then Lewandowski consolidated his side’s victory with the third goal – his 55th goal of the season – with a towering header from a free kick at the 88th minute.

Bayern Munich will now face Paris Saint-Germain in Champions League final on Sunday.
