Donny Van De Beek Agrees Personal Terms With Man Utd In £40m Deal

Donny van de Beek will be Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s first signing of the summer transfer window as the Netherlands midfielder has agreed a £40m personal terms with Manchester United.

The 23-year-old who is currently on international duty for Netherlands, is expected to complete the signing of the deal – which is thought to be in the region of €39m, plus another €5m in add-ons – in a few days.

Van De Beek will complete his medical while with the Netherlands squad before travelling to the UK following the Nations League games against Poland (September 4) and Italy (September 7).

The midfielder who was previously linked with Real Madrid, was left out of Ajax’s squad for the Dutch champions’ friendly with Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday amid rumours of an imminent move away.

He helped Ajax reach the 2018-19 Champions League semi-finals, scoring four goals and 40 in all competitions over the last three seasons.
