Two Vardy Penalties Help Leicester City Thrash West Brom 3-0

Leicester City started the 2020/21 premier league season with victory after finishing 5th last season and dropped out of Champions League qualifications.

A header from debutant Timothy Castagne who was signed for £21.5million from Atalanta, put Leicester ahead in the 56th minute.

Referee Anthony Taylor spotted Vardy being held back in the box by Kyle Bartley. A penalty was given which the 2019/2020 Golden Boots winner shot home to make it 2-0.

Vardy then doubled his goal with another penalty after Dara O’Shea clumsily took down Justin in the box.

West Brom were just trailing behind Leicester after a bright and could only register one shot on goal in the second half.
