Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has insisted he has no problem with Star player Lionel Messi.
Koeman’s arrival at the club coincided with Messi’s initial plan to leave on free transfer.
However, the Argentine star later made a U-turn and decided to see out his contract with Barcelona which ends next year.
Koeman said he has a good relationship with the team captain and there is no problem whatsoever between them despite conflict with the club.
“That has passed me reasonably well,” Koeman told Fox Sports.
“That was mainly a conflict between Messi and the club. I have spoken to Messi since then and we will continue as usual.”
Messi scored 31 goals and provided 26 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions for Barcelona last season.
