Tottenham Edging Closer To Sign Real Madrid Outcast Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale is reportedly eager to return to his former club Tottenham after he was frozen out in Real Madrid by boss Zindine Zidane.

According to Bale’s agent who spoke to Sky News, the forward is as close as he has ever been to leaving Real Madrid since his then world-record transfer in 2013, with Tottenham edging closer to reaching an agreement.

“There’s a long way to go on some issues, but without doubt Gareth is closer to leaving Madrid than at any time in last seven years,” Bale’s agent, Jonathan Barnett, said.

“The deal is complicated, but there’s reason to believe a deal is close and things could move very quickly if discussions continue to go well.”

Bale spent six seasons between 2007 and 2013 with Spurs before making a historic £86m move to Real Madrid.

However, the 31-year old Welsh international has been having problems with the La Liga giants which resulted in his being frozen out by the head coach Zidane.

Now Bale is eager to return to premier league and advisors are talking to Spurs about a potential loan move from Real.

There are reports that Real would rather prefer a permanent deal for the £600-a-week earner.
