“Victor Moses Isn’t In Our Plans,” Says Chelsea Boss Frank Lampard

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has said that Victor Moses is not in the Blues plans for the 2020/21 season.

Moses returned from loan spells at Turkish Super Lig club Fenerbahce and Serie A giants Inter Milan and featured in friendly against Wimbledon where he scored for Chelsea.

However, the 29-year-old was not given a shirt number which cast doubts about his future at Stamford Bridge.

There were talks he could still feature for the Blues this season following their hectic schedule and injuries to Christian Pulisic and Hakim Ziyech.

“At the moment, Victor isn’t in that moment with us. He isn’t in the bubble with us at the training ground but I know him well and trained with him,” Lampard told a news conference on Monday.

Moses was a key figure as a right-wing back under Antonio Conte, but struggled to hold down a regular berth under his successor Maurizio Sarri.

The former Nigerian international joined Chelsea from Wigan in 2012 where he scored 20 goals in 100 appearances.

He will reportedly leave the West London club at the end of the current transfer window.
