Barça Vs Juve: Morata Makes Champions League History

Spanish striker Alvaro Morata made history in Juventus’ 2-0 home defeat to Barcelona on Wednesday’s Champions League match.

Morata became the first Champions League player to score a hat-trick of disallowed goals.

Ousmene Dembele scored his first Champions League goal of the season with a deflected opener in the 14th minute.

Messi made a masterclass late penalty shot to seal victory for the Blaugranas.

However, it was a frustrating night for Juve who were without Cristiano Ronaldo after he tested positive for coronavirus for the third time.

As if it wasn’t enough, Morata’s 15th minute equalizer was cancelled by VAR for handball while his half-hour strike was disallowed again for offside.

Morata was on target again 10 minutes into the second half but VAR cancelled it, allowing Barcelona to end the game in victory against the hosts.

Barça not top Group G after two wins while Juve are second.
