Barcelona youngster Ansu Fati will not be in action for the Catalan club for four months as he will be undergoing surgery for an injury.
Fati has been in excellent form since joining the senior team last season and scored eight goals under former boss Quique Setien and five goals so far under Ronald Koeman.
However, the 18-year-old forward suffered the injury while playing for Barcelona in their Spanish La Liga game against Real Betis which ended 5-2 over the weekend.
And after the game, Barcelona explained Fati will undergo an emergency surgery before they later announced he will be out for four months.
This is a huge blow for Koeman as Fati has been a very efficient striker for his team.
Meanwhile, the Catalan giants currently occupy 8th position in La Liga with 11 points in seven games.
