Willian became the first Brazilian with the most English Premier League appearances after he featured in Arsenal vs Newcastle United on Monday night.
Willian was introduced with 11 minutes left in the game for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang making it his 248th appearance in the Premier League.
The Brazilian Star helped in the Gunners victory against the Magpies as Aubameyang scored a brace while Bukayo Saka also found back of the net.
Reacting to the achievement Willian wrote on his verified Twitter handle:”Im very proud to become the brazilian player with the most matches in Premier League history. #premierleague #248matches #thanksgod #arsenalfc.”
The former Chelsea star have been struggling at Arsenal since he joined the club in the last transfer window.
