Man Utd 3-2 Liverpool: Fernandes Free-Kick Sends United To FA Cup Fifth Round

Bruno Fernandes continued his excellent form at Old Trafford as his free-kick earned Manchester United a 3-2 victory over Liverpool and a spot in the FA Cup fifth round.

Liverpool continued their winless run as they have now failed to progress beyond the fourth round in five of their six seasons under Jurgen Klopp and the Premier League champions have recorded one win in their last seven games in all competitions.

Mohamed Salah gave the visitors the lead in the 18th minute but Mason Greenwood levelled eight minutes later with a sweeping finish.

Marcus Rashford then snatched the lead for United in the 48th minute but Salah levelled for the Reds ten minutes later.

It was Fernandes who sealed the win in the 78th minute after he came off bench to strike a venomous free-kick from the edge of the box and sent the Red Devils to the fifth round.

United now face West Ham in the fifth round tie next month.
