Super Eagles fans have taken to twitter to react to Gernot Rohr’s 24-man list for the final games of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Benin Republic and Lesotho later this month.
Ahmed Musa who has been without a club since October was included in the list but in-form Genk striker Paul Onuachu was surprisingly left out despite bagging 26 goals and provided two assists in 30 appearances across all competitions this season.
Musa failed to secure a move to Premier League side West Bromwich but he has been consistent in the Super Eagles, rescuing the team from defeats on some occasions.
On the other hand, Onuachu has failed to replicate his impressive Genk form in the Nigerian senior team, scoring just once since his debut in 2019.
But doesn’t stop fans from blasting Rohr for his decisions to leave out attacker from the squad.
