Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has been ruled out of the England squad in the upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifier against San Marino due to a hamstring injury.
Saka sustained the injury during Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur.
The 19-year-old was able to play in Arsenal’s 3-3 draw against West Ham but he will not be available for England on Thursday’s 2022 World Cup qualifier against San Marino.
However, it is hoped Saka, who made his England debut last October, will be available for the fixtures against Albania and Poland.
Meanwhile, Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford will also not be available for England duty as he is still recovering from injury he suffered in United’s 1-0 win against AC Milan in Europa League last Thursday.
The 23-year-old missed United’s FA Cup quarter-final loss to Leicester on Sunday.
