Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been nominated for the PFA Fan’s Player Of The Month Award.
Iheanacho battles with Luke Shaw (Manchester United), Alexandre Lacazette (Arsenal), Jesse Lingard (West Ham United), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur), and Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City) for the prize.
This admirable performance earned him his first ever Premier League Player Of The Month award after beating the likes of Harry Kane and a few others to the prize.
Iheanacho started the month with a goal during the Foxes’ 1-1 draw against Burnley at Turf Moor on March 3rd.
He went ahead to score another stunning goal to help Leicester claim maximum points against Brighton & Hove Albion a week later.
Kelechi’s final EPL game in the third month saw him produce an impressive performance and ended up scoring his first career hat-trick against Sheffield United.
With five goals in three appearances, Iheanacho stands a great chance to winning the PFA Fan’s Player Of The Month award.
He has scored 12 goals and five assists in 29 appearances for the King Power Stadium outfit so far this campaign.
