Porto lost 2-0 at home to Chelsea on Wednesday night Champions League quarterfinals.
Mason Mount and Ben Chilwell secured the comfortable win for Thomas Tuchel side to edge closer to the semi-finals.
Nigerian left-back Zaidu Sanusi almost opened scoring in the first half for Porto but his header flew over the bar.
Mount scored the lead for Chelsea in the 32nd minute after turning Sanusi before Chilwell made it 2-0 in the 85th minute.
In another fixture at Allianz Arena, title holders Bayern Munich lost 3-2 to Paris Saint-Germain.
Star of the match Kylian Mbappe opened the scoring in three minutes from Neymar’s set up.
And in the 28th minute, Marquinhos doubled the advantage for the French Champions, again through Neymar’s assist.
In the 37th minute Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting pulled a goal back for Bayern while Thomas Muller levelled the game on 60 minutes.
However, Mbappe scored what would eventually be the winning goal in the 68th after he ran on to a pass, cut inside and drilled a low shot in between Jerome Boateng’s legs.
