Arsenal fans are desperate for Africa’s richest man Aliko Dangote to take over the club.
Current owner Stan Kroenke was involved in the disastrous European Super League (ESL).
Arsenal has since put out a statement on Tuesday night apologising for signing up to the Super League following a huge backlash from the greater footballing world.
However, the apology was not enough as fans want Kroenke who is said to be one of the instigators of the Super League, to hand over ownership to Dangote.
Dangote, worth £8.3billion, invested in an oil refinery and claimed it would be operational this year, allowing him to focus on new projects which could include buying Arsenal.
He said in January 2020: “It is a team that yes, I would like to buy some day.
“I’m trying to finish building the company and then after we finish, maybe some time in 2021, we can.
“I’m not buying Arsenal right now, I’m buying Arsenal when I finish all these projects because I’m trying to take the company to the next level.”
Fans took to twitter to beg the billionaire to buy the premier league giant. Below are some of their tweets:
