Barcelona star Philippe Coutinho is set to become Alex Iwobi’s teammate at Everton this summer.
According to exclusive report from The Sun, Everton who are confident in signing Coutinho and hoise-hunting for him, are offering a £35million deal.
Boss Ancelloti reportedly wants Coutinho to form a South American dream team with Colombian James Rodriguez.
The Brazilian has been miserable at Barcelona since leaving Liverpool for £145m.
Barca tried to sell him 18 months later but he ended up on loan at Bayern Munich where he won a treble but was hit by injuries that forced him to stay at Bundesliga on a permanent move.
The 28-year-old returned to Nou Camp and made 14 appearances but a knee injury will keep him out for the rest of the season.
Everton want to be sure he has recovered fully before committing, but a deal is thought to have been agreed on paper.
The prognosis is said to be excellent and plans are well underway to welcome Coutinho, his wife Aine and their three children.
Barcelona are said to be eager to sell him even for a lower fee. But there will be mixed reactions from Liverpool fans about the “Little Magician’s” return to Premier League.
Ancelloti hopes Coutinho’s arrival at Everton will be a big step for regular featuring in the Champions League.
