Former Nigeria international Victor Moses has been voted Man Of The Match for his dazzling performance that ensured Spartak Moscow 2-1 away win against Arsenal Tula in the Russian Premier League.
Moses provided two assists to guide his side to victory on Monday’s tie.
The on-loan Chelsea star connected with Aleksandr Sobolev who made no mistake scoring the first goal for Spartak midway in the first half.
But Spartak suffered a setback when Ilya Kutepov scored an embarrassing own goal at halftime.
But Victor Moses ensured Spartak secured all the three points when his perfect pass opened space for Carl Henrik Jordan Larsson to smash home the winner in the 76th minute.
The 30-year-old has now scored three goals and recorded four assists in 17 league appearances for Spartak Moscow this season.
The win at Arsenal Tula has seen Spartak Moscow move second in the Russian Premier League and final spot in the UEFA Champions League.
However, only one point separates Spartak from third-placed Lokomotiv Moscow in the Russian Premier league, with only two matches left to play.
Zenit St Petersburg have already been crowned Russian champions at the weekend after gathering 61 unmatchable points from 28 games.
